80% of all money raised by the Coors “campaign” is straight from the Wallet of Joe, himself.

Despicable and deceitful – that’s what the Denver Post called Joe Coors attacks on Ed Perlmutter
· Denver Post 10/2/12 – “Editorial: Joe Coors’ attack ad seems desperate”
Coors has a history full of despicable things.
He called AIDS, God’s punishment of homosexuals.
· Los Angeles Times, Sept. 19, 1988 “Coors Dynasty : Diversity Tolerated, Up to a Point”
…..“Secondly, Joe Coors’ sons are also in harmony on at least one other point: Homosexuals are an abomination in the eyes of God.”
…“Again, it is the mild-mannered Joe Coors Jr. who explains the family position on homosexuality, in the most gentle manner possible, his tone halfway apologetic, begging understanding.”
“… Moreover, he added, until only recently he also committed the sin of arrogance, of being personally judgmental. He believed, he says, looking ashamed of himself, that AIDS was God’s special retribution to gays.”
Denver Post, Sept. 25, 2012“Joe Coors Jr., former black sheep of family, now running for office”
He opposes abortion – even for rape victims.

And Coors lost millions on a get rich quick scheme — causing the Wall Street Journal and Fox News to call Joe Coors, “Steeped in Greed”
Dow Jones Newswire – October 11, 2012 10:56 a.m. EDT
Fox Business News Oct. 12, 2012 “Candidate Joe Coors’s Hard Lemon of an
Investment”
….[Judge Robert Blackburn said] “But make no mistake, this was a contest that
pitted greed against greed, and greed prevailed, but to the detriment of all the
greedy.”
Denver Post – Al Lewis Column: “Greed rears ugly head in Coors’ case”
August 6, 2004
“….You don’t have to be stupid, inexperienced or uneducated to be victimized in an
investment scheme. All you have to be is greedy.
Joe Coors Jr . is a case in point.
The SEC has characterized Lefebvre’s pitch as “blatantly false promises of exorbitant
returns” that “should have raised red flags from the get-go.”
Greed is one of the seven deadly sins. Today it’s also a national pastime. So what are
Coors and Robinson to do after losing $4 million in a scheme that they both should
have seen coming, but were blinded to by greed?”

Joe Coors Calls Women’s Health “Little Mines”
New Ad Reveals More Joe Coors Extreme Views
Wheat Ridge, CO – Joe Coors has a long history of supporting extreme restrictions on the ability of women to make their own medical decisions, and he wants government to take even more control of women’s reproductive rights.
At a debate in Thornton this week, Coors called women’s health decisions and social issues “little mines” that shouldn’t distract voters.
“Joe Coors’ extreme beliefs and comments about the ability of a woman to make her own medical decisions is out of touch with the values of the hardworking people in the 7th CD,” said Perlmutter campaign spokeswoman, Leslie Oliver. “On the issue of women’s health, Joe Coors is more extreme than Reps. Todd Akin, VP candidate Paul Ryan and nearly every other Republican candidate. His actions would endanger women and impose more government intrusion into their lives. Joe Coors is wrong for Colorado.
Congressman Ed Perlmutter stated, “Government should not be involved in a woman’s reproductive health decisions. We have real work we need to do to build our economy and put people back to work here in this country. These medical decisions should be between a woman and her doctor.”
Below is the new commercial and its script documenting Joe Coors’ extreme views on women’s health.
Respect
Joe Coors sure puts his money where his mouth is.
Two years ago, Coors funded a personhood amendment, which declared life begins at conception – and could criminalize ALL abortions, no exceptions.

Amendment 62 – Colorado Blue Book – The supporters of Amendment 62 state their purpose is to “establish the legal foundation to end the practice of abortion.”
Coors efforts could even prevent women from obtaining some forms of birth control.

As noted and found true by 9News in 2010: “As it relates to the most popular form of female contraception, what’s commonly known as “the pill,” there seems to be some agreement between the proponents and opponents of the amendment. If the contraception prevents fertilization, it’s not impacted. If it does not, it would be banned under the amendment’s passage. The primary way the pill works is to prevent pregnancy, but it can also work by preventing a fertilized egg from implanting in a woman’s uterus. Ed Perlmutter has a different view. Perlmutter respects women to make their own decisions about their bodies and believes government has no role there.

Joe Coors Outsources American Jobs, But Not the Truth
“Joe Coors still embraces outsourcing American jobs and feels outsourcing their jobs to Asia is the only way a company can stay ‘viable’”
In 1999, while Joe Coors was Chairman and CEO of CoorsTek, his company founded and started CoorsTek Korea. For more than a decade, his company embarked on a strategy of low cost manufacturing creating jobs in Asia, which otherwise could have been here in the United States. [CoorsTek 2002 Quarterly Earnings Conference Call discussing the success of the company distributed by FD (Fair Disclosure) Wire on July 26th, 2002]
“Clearly given his own admittance and statements, Joe Coors still embraces outsourcing American jobs and feels outsourcing their jobs to Asia is the only way a company can stay ‘viable’,” said Perlmutter spokeswoman Leslie Oliver. “With this lack of faith in American workers, Joe Coors will continue to push for tax breaks for companies like his who ship jobs overseas. At a time when Coloradans need jobs here at home the most, Joe Coors and his company sent them to Asia.”
[In response to the Denver Post, the Coors campaign said “the decision [to outsource] kept an American company “viable in a global economy.”]
Republican Joe Coors continues to blindly follow the national Republican talking points and agenda, by saying what he thinks people want to hear for his own political reasons. But his actions and the facts reveal the truth behind this story. He says he created jobs, but he and his company outsourced Colorado jobs to send them to Asia.
“Ed Perlmutter has a different idea and is working to protect jobs here in Colorado,” said Oliver. “Ed has faith in American workers and is fighting to make things here in America. He has a record of bipartisan work with Republicans and Democrats to protect and grow jobs here in Colorado and America, and boost our nation’s manufacturing sector.”
See below for the full script of “Different Idea” and the fact check that accompanies it.
“DIFFERENT IDEA”
This Company employs Colorado workers to make American Products.
-Walker Component Group is an Electronic Component Distributor located in Denver, CO (7th CD). They supply cabling systems to Vestas, as well as other electronic
component distribution to companies throughout the United States.
I’m part of a group of Democrats and Republicans working to pass make it in America laws to help more businesses like this create more American Jobs.
Examples include:
HR 5542 — Co-sponsor Bring Our Jobs Home Act — Provided tax incentives for
companies to bring their overseas jobs back to the U.S. Allowed companies to deduct
20% of the cost of bring jobs back to the USA
HR 639 — Co sponsored the Currency Reform for Fair Trade Act. Levels the trade
playing field by holding accountable countries that create an unfair trade advantage by
manipulating their currency.
HR 4380 – THe U.S. Manufacturing Enhancement Act — Supported this bill that was
signed into law in 2010. It reduces cost for US businesses and increases
competitiveness of their products by increasing US production and support tens of
thousands of American job. It was supported by business groups like the US
Chamber of Commerce and National Association of Manufacturers. It passed with
overwhelming bi-partisan support 378-43.
But Joe Coors – he has a different idea.

Joe Coors: Bad Candidate, Bad Landlord
Mr. Coors showed little sympathy when he chose to evict a tenant from his rental property. Just another example that asks, who is the real Joe Coors?
UPDATE: Joe Coors writes another big check. Coors has now spent 1.9 MILLION DOLLARS in attempt to buy the election!
While for Mr. Coors, $1.9 million is pocket change, for Coloradans of the 7th congressional district, this amount of money is no laughing matter. What could 1.9 million dollars be better spent on?
For the same price Mr. Coors could have…
- Paid for 1 year of tuition for 271 students at the University of Colorado at Boulder
- Paid for 1 year of salary for 56 service technicians at Vestas Wind Systems in Golden
- Paid for 1 year of salary for 36 high school teachers in Jefferson County
Where does Joe Coors stand on the Personhood Initiative?
After Joe refused to answer a question about the Personhood initiative at the Adams County Fair, Fox 31 Denver asked Mr. Coors to do an interview about the controversial subject. Shockingly, Joe Coors declined. Here is the Fox 31 story with video of Mr. Coors refusing to take a stand.
Like many things, Joe prefers not to talk about the amendement but rather let his money do the talking for him.
